Special Notes Regarding Structure Sets in Multiplan (Cyberknife)

Issue

There is a known limitation with the CyberKnife TPS called MultiPlan where the TPS will not correctly load DICOM RT Structure Sets if there are ROI numbers greater than 22 (allowed numbers are limited to 0 to 22). Most ProKnow plan study structure sets have: 1) more than 23 structures, and/or 2) ROI number is greater than 22, and MultiPlan will not import them successfully.

Workaround

Accuray is developing a new version of the TPS that does not have this unfortunate limit. Until that version is released, the CK user will have to email the original structure set file to Accuracy and have them send back a new file that has all the crucial targets and OARs, one that can be read by the MultiPlan system.
